![]() ![]() ![]() I bought the game today and played 3 games (So I'm most likely not an expert), the last one I got radar in my second card-drop and proceeded to build 2, which almost killed me since I didn't have cash for much else, but soon enough I got more affordable defenses up and set the bi-planes to chase the fastes enemies. Having them focus on slowest is probably my favourite since they tend to be the high health, spawning enemy types that you want gone as soon as possible. If you want them to spread out a little bit then change the priorities on them and have some focus on shield, some on armour, some on progress, etc. They just stockpile damage until something come through and if your lane is long enough you get a lot set up by the time the enemies get to you.Īnd yeah Radars are probably the best anti-Oogie tower for their range and damage against single targets. They are super useful having two or three at the end of a lane catching everything that leaks through. And, they don't have much power to start, either.Īlso, I noticed that sometimes mines blow up when there are no enemies nearby. ![]() The rate at which they lay mines and the rather pathetic area they cover in their raw state means that if placed anywhere near the tile enemies are entering the map from, they don't have enough time to put out more than a couple of mines. One thing I note about biplanes- they tend to bunch up and fly around in packs, which can limit their effectiveness when enemies aren't bunched up enough for them to change targets on a pass.Įncampments, on the other hand, seem pretty useless to me. Beat single lane with that combo, though, but I added a few more radars.ĭoes anyone know if radars get a damage advantage from elevation? It makes sense for the range to increase, but since biplanes are doing the actual shooting, it seems odd if raising the radar towers adds damage. I had to use about 8 poison and flame towers to absorb all the stuff that gets thrown at you post-35. I think it took four of them two passes to take down Robo Ooogie. ![]() I avoided radar and encampment for a long time, but what with the mana nerf I thought I'd give them another shot.īiplanes do major damage and level up fast. ![]()
